jglasscontactJohn Glass, was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he now lives with his wife and their two children. Photography for John began as a hobby taking pictures of family and friends, but developed into a driving passion. John believes that education makes the difference in his career and business.  He is a member of several professional organizations such as Professional Photographers of America (PPA), Professional Photographers Minority Network (PPMN) and Detroit Professional Photographers Association (DPPA). 

John has been published in the, Michigan Chronicle, The Detroit News, The Detroit Free Press and Jet Magazine.  He was also featured on the front page of The Detroit News concerning the, "Million Man March".  John gives back to the community by sitting on the Board of Directors of The United Way Southeastern District, and offers his time, skills and leadership to Detroit Youthville by working with young adults.

Clients include Detroit Edison, Blacks in Advertising, Radio, & Television, Arthur Anderson, Syntex Corporation, Today's Women Magazine, Michigan Area Council of Boy Scouts, DMC Children's Hospital, Kingdom of God Ministries, Midnight Golf, Jos Campus Church of God and the Michigan 36th District Court.

He is guided in his business by a philosophy to "Always Improve upon What You DO and Never Stop Learning". In addition to photography, John enjoys reading, bowling, sport cars, traveling, and jazz and gospel music.
